Amanda Boody, RN, CEOLD

Amanda is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. As a Certified End of Life doula and a Registered Nurse, she has over ten years of experience serving clients and patients in various acute and home care settings. Her expertise lies in caring for elderly and hospice individuals with a wide range of illnesses and terminal diagnoses, including cardiovascular diseases, dementia and Alzheimer’s cases, various cancer diagnoses, and long-term care needs.
Amanda’s specialized knowledge allows her to provide valuable end-of-life counsel and education to patients and their families. She is skilled in managing end-of-life physical concerns, including extensive wound care and pain management needs. While the role of an End of Life doula does not involve case management of these extensive care needs, Amanda’s unique qualifications make her an ideal advocate to have on your family’s care team. She can help coordinate concerns with your doctors, nurses, and other care providers, ensuring effective communication while providing the patient and family the support they need.
Amanda’s dedication to her profession and her commitment to ongoing education make her a valuable asset in providing compassionate care and support during the end-of-life journey.
Amanda’s dedication to her field is evident through her continuous education and professional development in end of life matters. She completed her nursing education through the State University of New York (SUNY) Broome and Chamberlain College of Nursing. In 2022, she obtained her end of life doula certification through the International Doula Life Movement (IDLM) and remains an active member of the Florida End of Life Doula Association (FEOLDA).
